On this site, visitors will see pictures of the Family Fitness Fair. Visitors will also be introduced to a variety of programs in the Southern Illinois community that offer families  activities that will help to develop physical and mental family fitness. This web site is a cool way for families to access information they can use to help them become fit and healthy. The names of agencies that work with various age family members are identified, as well as information as to how to contact and locate these agencies is presented. Families will be able to access some links to other sites to help them find additional family fitness activities. February 18th, 2010 - We held a Family Fitness Fair in the Alumni Lounge at the SIUC REC CENTER! It was a resounding success withover 100 kids and  presenters, donations and door prizes! !

Developing this Family Fitness site, as well as orchestrating the Family Fitness  Fair at the SIUC REC Center, is the project of Senior Girl Scout Jessica Whitehead in fulfillment of earning her Gold Award, the highest award a girl scout can earn, and the Department of Kinesiology on the SIUC campus. Jessica thanks the Southern Illinois Select Volleyball Club for hosting this site.
